BAHT Level I: Introduction to Hand Therapy
This course is ideal if you have just started a hand therapy rotation or wish to get into this field.
BAHT Level I courses follow a set syllabus and are therefore similar wherever the course is being run. This course is aimed at Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who have less than two years’ experience in hand therapy. The course covers anatomy, assessment, skills for treatment and common conditions and complications. The course lasts three days and a one hour exam is taken on the final afternoon. All BAHT Level I courses use the same Reading List and have the same Aims and Objectives and can be found on the BAHT website as well as below. NES teaches the anatomy in a unique and memorable way using the Anatomy Glove, the cost of which is included in your course fee.
This course will take place at the gorgeous venue of Stephens House and Gardens, 17 East End Road, Finchley, N3 3QE. There is a Travelodge nice and close, a park for a head-clearing walk and lots of lovely restaurants.
