This course covers the anatomy and bone healing in order to apply to the common fractures of the fingers, hand, wrist and forearm. Assessment, imaging and treatment will be covered for each of the common fractures. There is an emphasis on practical treatment skills including splinting and rehabilitation. Teaching includes lectures and workshops throughout. We will be sending, by post, all delegates a package prior to the course which will contain multiple items to support the learning during the course – particularly the workshops. We will also be offering a voucher for all delegates for one choice of our online modules.
Applications are open to therapists who have passed a BAHT Level I course or have a minimum of two years experience in hand therapy. Application for this course is now digital. Course was excellent and really helped with my development of knowledge. Notes were really good as the lecturers followed the notes exactly, helped with the learning when reading over, able to retain the information a lot easier.
